Strategic Frame Analysis® is a proprietary approach to communications research and practice that pays attention to the public's deeply held worldviews and widely held assumptions. Recognizing that there is more than one way to tell a story, Strategic Frame Analysis® taps into decades of research on how people think and communicate. The way an issue is framed explains who is responsible and suggests potential solutions. FrameWorks’ unique approach to framing has identified and enumerated a set of frame elements that convey meaning and affect the way that people respond to an issue. These include values, metaphors, narrative, messengers, and more.

        Audience:
Employees of local public health departments, tribal health clinics, and members of community-based substance abuse prevention coalitions are eligible to attend this training. When registering, be sure to indicate your agency affiliation in the drop-down menu or on the “agency not listed” line. Failure to do so will disqualify your registration.
