DESCRIPTION:  This online course provides an introduction to Hepatitis C for practitioners working in the field of HIV services. It provides an overview of Hepatitis C (HCV) that includes the following:

Objectives:
• Key information about the hepatitis virus
• The different types of hepatitis
• Epidemiological data
• Modes of transmission
• Prevention
• Disease progression
• Testing protocols
• Treatment options

Audience:
The target audience is staff and managers of agencies funded by the Wisconsin HIV Program. It is also open to anyone interested in learning about Hepatitis C.
